Anyone know why the 7-Eleven at 7433 Hollister Ave closed abruptly?
Windows are now boarded up and there is a chain and lock on the door.

There was talk of further ones closing, but this one was regularly busy and the sign does say “temporarily,” so maybe it’s something else
Apparently now those signs have been removed
I understand it was for failure to pay franchise fees to 711. First started going to that one in 1972. Sad
Where did you hear that? not trying to doubt you but want to know if its from a reliable source.
Do you know if they plan on reopening? I saw online people also said it was due to freezer issues but I don’t think that is the case because they wouldn’t have closed the whole store for that/

I went to that store with my girlfriend when I was five years old. Her dad bought us slurpees and himself a lottery ticket. He didn’t win anything but she kissed me on the cheek when we got back to her house. Sniff…I hope they reopen!
