Santa Barbara County firefighters extinguished a residential fire in Santa Barbara on Friday afternoon.
At 3:15 p.m., crews arrived in the 500 block of Apple Grove Lane, off Calle Real in the neighborhood between Hitchcock and Las Positas.
Crews discovered a smoke coming from a single-story, single family residence.
It took about twenty minutes for firefighters to knock down the fire. They were able to contain it to the living room and kitchen area.
There were no injuries but residents are displaced. The cause is under investigation.
