On Monday, August 7 at 8:57 p.m., Falcon 9 launched 15 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
This was the fifth launch and landing for this Falcon 9 first stage booster, which previously launched SDA-0A and now four Starlink missions.

SpaceX launched 15 more of its Starlink internet satellites Monday night (Aug. 7) and landed the returning rocket on a ship at sea. A Falcon 9 rocket topped with the Starlink spacecraft lifted off from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base Monday at 18:57 pm. The Falcon 9’s first stage came back to Earth as planned, landing on the SpaceX drone ship Of Course I Still Love You about 9.5 minutes after launch.
Here’s what it looked like from Painted Cave Road at exactly 9:00 pm.
Below is a wide angle view of the launch made by fellow photographer Michael Chapman. Note the satellite in the upper right quadrant. From what I can tell it could a Starlink.
