One805 Live! Fall Music Festival with Headliner Maroon 5 Raises Funds for Local First Responders

By One805

On September 22, 2023 One805 will hold its Fall One805LIVE! Festival with Maroon 5 headlining. The concert is One805’s flagship event, and will once again take place on the oceanside estate of Kevin Costner in Summerland, with proceeds benefiting First Responders throughout Santa Barbara County.

The GRAMMY Award-winning band is also donating 100% of their time and talent to support One805. Maroon 5 will be coming off their Las Vegas Residency before continuing their world-tour.  The band has released seven studio albums, had nine tours and 13 Top 20 songs in the UK alone, and played a Superbowl halftime show. In addition to Maroon 5, the concert will feature One805’s signature star-studded lineup and surprise performances.

As part of the Fall One805 Live! Festival, the nonprofit has also launched an exclusive online auction, ideal for music and rock and roll enthusiasts, with items such as a guitar signed by Katy Perry, a drum signed by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and a Depeche Mode VIP concert Experience.  In addition, there are fun experiences such as a 10-day Caribbean cruise with luxury line Regent Seven Seas Cruises, a scenic flight over Santa Barbara and much more. All proceeds raised through the concert and auction will go toward essential equipment needs for first responders, as well providing crucial counseling services for every firefighter in Santa Barbara County. The auction link can be found at www.one805.org.

“The recent tragic events in Maui highlight our own vulnerability here in Santa Barbara County,” said Richard Weston-Smith, COO of One805. “We need to look after our First Responders, and make sure they are as well prepared as they can be.”

One805 recently received a significant donation from local company Yardi, and will also be making other grant announcements at the event.

In addition to Maroon 5, David Pack and Alan Parsons will play, Elliot Easton of The Cars will once again be joining the line-up, as will Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, who has played extensively with both Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers.

“There will also be some surprises! We are so grateful to all of the wonderful artists on our lineup for donating their time and generously providing autographed items to help support our local First Responders,” said Kirsten Cavendish Weston Smith, Co-Founder and CEO, One805. “We would also like to thank our sponsors and the community. Events like One805Live! would not be possible without their support.”

The event is almost sold out, but there are still some VIP table tickets available at www.one805.org.

About One805

In the aftermath of the Thomas fire and subsequent mudslides “One805” was created, hosting the largest non-profit event in Santa Barbara History – The Kick Ash Bash! It brought together actors, entertainers, singers, performers, and most of all, our community in a spirit of healing. First Responders and their families were treated to an amazing day where we were able to put the tragedy behind us. Thanks to the efforts of many, over $2 million was raised to provide counseling support to First Responders and purchase equipment to directly support victims of the tragedy.

All who would like to contribute to One805 to assist our local First Responders may do so at One805.org. 100% of all contributions go to first responders and related supportive services. Tickets and sponsorships for One805LIVE! Can also be found at www.One805.org
