The lines on this photo aren’t square; looks fake.
Wide-angle lenses will do that… Especially towards the edges. Notice the stretch on the car on the right.
You can get a tiltable bellows kit for from $60 to $1,100 to fix this on inexpensive mirrorless cameras when you need a wide angle lens.
The “perspective” has very little to do with the historical aspect of the “colorization” of the photo. I like the beauty of the color. The rest isn’t really that important to me. If you need the picture to be correct, I can make it perfect for a price! 🙂
You didn’t actually think that when you take a photo, it comes out with no perspective did you? You would have to draw it like an architectural elevation.
