An OnTrac package delivery truck caught fire near Buellton early Friday morning.
At 3:57 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Highway 101 northbound, about a 1/2 mile north of Highway 154 for a report of a vehicle fire.
Upon arrival crews discovered smoke and fire coming from the rear of an OnTrack delivery semi-truck.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from reaching the packages and contained the fire to the rear of the trailer.
The number two lane of Highway 101 was temporarily shut down.
The cause is under investigation.
