Atmospheric rumblings this morning suggest military exercises, involving high performance aircraft, may be occurring off the coast of Vandenberg Space Force Base.
Two military refueling aircraft are orbiting in this area, likely in support of this exercise:

SpaceX aborted a launch again this morning
Sheriff’s Office posted this a few minutes ago:
“There will be a military helicopter unit conducting night maneuvers from the Santa Ynez airport tonight. This unit is not affiliated with your County Air Support Unit and we are not planning any flights this evening.”
Regardless of what exactly it was, I appreciate all the info. Rumbles woke me this a.m.
