Emergency responders were on the scene of a possible fire on Stearns Wharf yesterday afternoon (Monday 4:00p).
City Fire and Harbor Patrol responded to report of smoke on the pier and were quick to put it out. Appears to be another cigarette that smolders in the wood, although this has not been confirmed but it does happen pretty frequently.
Workers on the wharf reported it, this was in front of the Harbor Restaurant, likely where someone was smoking.
Haven’t seen any updated information out today (Tuesday) but figured I’d post in case anyone was curious.
