Can anyone recommend a place where I can donate bicycles so that they can find a new home?
I have 1 road bike and 2 mountain bikes from the 1980s and 1990s – all are in great rideable condition.

Thanks Bicyclist and 4690 – I didn’t previously know about Bici Centro – great suggestion
3rd vote for Bici Centro!! We donated our bikes and they were happy to receive them, plus tax write off. Our son has made use of their wonderful repair shop and helpful staff.
Bici Centro, 100%! They’re an awesome company and resource in our area. Donations are tax deductible, too.
Exactly my suggestion also. They will also be made “Safe to ride” as well, no matter the condition. (“safe” is way different than “rideable”, I’d prefer safer every time)

Allow me to join the chorus and suggest Bici Centro. Over the years, I have donated a bike and miscellaneous equipment (seat, racks, clothing). Bici Centro evolved from the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition and does wonderful training with kids, advocacy for new bike routes in our community, etc.
New Beginnings could use one of them. We have a client who would be really grateful to have one of them. Donation also tax deductible and I could pick it up if that helps.
