Foot Pursuit on the Mesa

Beginning just before Midnight. (05/19/2023) A Police Traffic from the 7/11 on the Mesa. An officer is heard on the scanner traffic chasing a male wearing all black with black hat.

Apparently, a unit that had been nearby just a bit earlier, made a U-turn and almost immediately arrived, and thus was able to help subdue the unknown subject. The reason for the chase is unkown.

The Officer, very efficiently and only very breifly sounded out of breaath as she gave what appeared to be an immediate and very energetic chase. Was able to very quickly and efficiently defend her position and continue communications with “P.D Base.” While maintaining full efficiency in the moment.

Subject was apprehended almost immediately in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on the Mesa.

Thereafter a call for AMR, was heard, not sure if related, or who was injured. Hope the officer was not seriously affected in any way or manner
