Near the top of the 200 block of North Hope Avenue. A vehicle struck a parked car, a Tesla by the looks of it, the offending car’s axle broke off, he immediately spun out and ended up on the sidewalk. Thankfully no one was walking on the sidewalk at that time.
No injuries were initially reported, or expected, AMR ambulance was soon called off.
A neighbor came out to check on his vehicle, he mentioned his car has been hit on or near the same spot several times.
As a just side-note, don’t, please, please do not,become distracted by your phone or any other outside influence, especially on a narrow road bywhere drivers tend to drive a bit too fast and possibly a bit furious!
