An armed robbery suspect has been captured just a few blocks from a crime scene in downtown Santa Barbara. Police say the suspect, 25-year old Zachary Angel of Santa Barbara, used a weapon in the holdup at a dentist office in the 1200 block of Garden Street.
He was tracked down and arrested in front of the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s office on Santa Barbara Street. The weapon was located in a dumpster near the crime scene.
Angel was booked for multiple counts of robbery, brandishing a replica firearm and child endangerment. Read more on KEYT.com

An armed robbery suspect is in custody in front of the District Attorney’s office. The robbery occurred at a Dentist’s office at 1235 Garden Street, allegedly he had a gun.
Is there something in the air today – some strange behavior out there?!
oh my gosh that’s Dr. Stein’s office. Most selfless man and great dentist, + lovely staff. So glad they caught the guy.
Yeah, you’re right. In sure he only wanted that $60 for his electric bill.
Wonder what would’ve happened if we allowed dentists to arm themselves?

Just another insightful and original commentary. Perhaps if there were any available comprehensive mental health and rehab services in this country, he wouldn’t have felt the need to pick up a gun and rob a medical doctor for drugs. Just sayin…
