Marian Williams Reddan passed away on October 7, 2017, in Santa Barbara, California at Casa Dorinda where she enjoyed living for 17 years.
After the war, while skiing at Stowe, Vermont, Marian met Lieutenant E. Douglas Reddan of the Naval Air Forces. They were married on May 29, 1948. Marian and Doug first moved to Dallas, Texas, followed by Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts then settled in Santa Barbara, California for nearly 60 years.
Throughout her 96 years, Marian was a devoted volunteer. She worked with the Junior League, Cottage Hospital, the Visiting Nurses Association, and the Music Academy of the West, the Garden Club of Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Art Museum.
