Arrest Following Stolen Vehicle Pursuit

One suspect was arrested after a stolen vehicle pursuit in the Santa Barbara foothills early Saturday morning.

The black Toyota SUV crashed into a curb on Alameda Padres Serra (APS) where it was abandoned. Santa Barbara Police and a K-9 unit searched the area and discovered a female suspect hiding nearby. 

The vehicle was taken on Monday afternoon October 30 from Ortega Street in Santa Barbara. The owner said it was left running for a short period of time.
