Fire agencies are holding a community meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the Thomas Fire.
CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 4, will conduct the meeting in the cafetorium of Carpinteria High School at 4810 Foothill Road.
Representatives from the agencies managing the incident will provide a briefing and be available for questions at its conclusion. The briefing will start promptly at 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with information regarding the current status of the fire, firefighting activities, status of mandatory and voluntary evacuations as well air quality status and impacts.
Participating agencies that will be attending are: Ventura County Fire, Ventura County Sheriff, Santa Barbara County Fire, Santa Barbara County Sheriff, City of Ventura Fire Department, City of Ventura Police Department, USFS/Los Padres National Forest, CAL OES, Red Cross, Southern California Edison, CHP, California Dept. of Corrections and Rehabilitation, So CA Gas, Crimson Pipeline, Wildfire Defense Systems, CA Resources Group, Santa Paula Police, Santa Paula Fire, Ventura County OES, Santa Barbara OEM
