They caught one the other day I heard from someone that looters are going into Montecito by bicycle…
The Sheriff reported yesterday evening at the briefing that there had been no incidents of theft or looting so far.
Will I have been hearing people calling in to report incidents over the scanner…Then I heard about the weirdo on the bicycle trying to evade the CHP..I don’t think I believe them with the reports I have heard..
I have also been listening to the scanner and I can tell you there is a lot that is not being reported. Roger does a fine job but no single person could document the amount of information being broadcasted over the last week and a half. I have heard multiple calls back to dispatch to sort out suspicious activity in the no go zone… Some are just running for groceries from their homes but others have been escorted out because we don’t have any room for out of town looters in our jails.
Maybe the mudslide looked the houses.
