It would have been a sign of leadership and compassion if Mayor Murillo had at least appeared on Coast Village Road right after the flood disaster in January wiped out businesses that are still suffering to this day, as well as affectting residents. They anxiously await yet another possible onslaught in the next few days. If the worst happens, I would hope that Mayor Murillo will appear on-scene promptly this time to show support and compassion to the residents and business owners.
