Penelope805 wrote, “This mosaic can be found on a retaining wall between the playground and the baseball fields at MacKenzie Park (3111 State St, Corner of Las Positas and State St). The mosaic was created in 2010 by Tami Zweig Macala, the local Santa Barbara artist behind All Cracked Up Mosaics, and over 20 local high school and junior high students, through PAL. The mosaic piece features an abstract take on a map of the earth, created with colorful ceramic tiles and mirror. The piece is covered with thoughtful words like ‘Peace, Love & Earth.'”
