Jacqui Owitti passed away suddenly on 4/28/18. She was in Kenya visiting family and succumbed to an exhausted body after years of battling an illness.
She came to SB in 1990 to go to Westmont College and lived here for years. She touched thousands on 6 continents thru prayer, art, writing, compassion and love.
She will be laid to rest in Kisumu, Kenya at the family rural home. A memorial in SB is scheduled on Sat 5/19/18, 11:00 @ The Loft-821 State St Suite B between Rite Aid & Sur La Table upstairs.
