We are wondering if any readers are also equally as bummed that the coin opp water dispensers have disappeared from Albertsons near Costco, and where the nearest ones are now?

Just a reminder: Our tap water is perfectly drinkable, delicious, and a great way to save the environment from the billions of single-use plastic bottles we burn through every year.
Our tap water is anything but delicious.
Refilling gallon jugs or 5 gallon jugs from a water dispenser is a fine way to avoid single use plastic bottles, as well as using a Brita-type water filter or reverse-osmosis system (neither of which is perfect, as they still generate some waste).
Although a friend of mine did an experiment in college where the group took samples from multiple water dispensers around town and measured the bacteria levels. Yuck.
Tap Water sucks….
Our tap water literally smells like a swimming pool
I’m sorry natureboy but regardless of your reasons for LIKING our tap water it’s still undrinkable. Thank god for my 3 gal jug I refill once a week at the Water Store for $1.50, almost as much as a single use bottle 1/20th the size.
