A flurry of gunshots Tuesday night near Glen Annie and 7700 Calle Real in Goleta was reported by a Sheriff’s deputy about 11 p.m. Multiple units including a K-9 were called in, backed up by the California Highway Patrol and UC Police. One vehicle was stopped nearby and searched but the driver and passenger were not involved and let go. One resident nearby said she heard four shots fired.

Very scarey indeed. There are too many reports of police shooting people only to find out there was no threat what so ever just a tense situation with scared people on both sides.
This is very concerning as, only a week ago, we had officers respond to 2 shots fired only a few blocks away from here down in Winchester Canyon. I wonder if it was the same people? Either way, having 2 nights within 1 week in the same neighborhood where multiple shots were fired is starting to get troubling.
Yes, the downvotes are correct. There is no reason (in fact it’s really offensive) to be concerned about multiple nights of random gun shots in residential neighborhoods so close to each other.
