Did you know that Calico kitties like our little Rainbow are almost always females? She is technically a dilute Calico given that her three fur colors are much lighter than classic calicos, which are usually black, brown and white. If the colors are not in large blocks, but more spotted throughout the fur, then the kitty is a tortoiseshell. Also, these pretty tri-color kitties are said to bring luck in many cultures!
