A tractor mower sparked a brush fire in the 900 block of Via Chaparral in Santa Barbara on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire spread quickly to surrounding grass when Santa Barbara County firefighters arrived around 2:50 p.m.
Fire crews were able to swiftly knock down the fire that reached 20 x 30 feet.
There were no reported injuries.
