This color haul at a Carp nursery reminded me of the old Disney version of Alice In Wonderland when they painted the flowers. I wonder if the people harvesting are ever thinking about the people who’ll be enjoying their colorful blooms, adding a touch of beauty to any scene. The Miramar construction is always interesting from any angle, and the exterior forms are starting to refine.

Beautiful flowers, John, thanks. What is happening at the Miramar is disheartening for me. I grew up next door when the hotel consisted of cottages and beautiful gardens. About 1960 they built two story “Motel 6” type atrocities, even taking the little cottages and their tiny gardens off the boardwalk and putting up double decker “hotel rooms”. But today the buildings are over the top of poor taste, in my opinion.
