Just before 6:00 a.m., yesterday morning (6-29-18), deputies from the Carpinteria Station were dispatched to a report of a robbery, which had just occurred in the 3300 block of Gibraltar Road. The victims reported being robbed at knifepoint while three male suspects stole items from their car. After the robbery, the victim’s followed the suspect’s to a residence in the 1100 block of Hillcrest Road in Santa Barbara.
Officers from the Santa Barbara Police Department and Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office met the victims at that location. During investigation, none of the robbery suspects was located.
The victim’s described all three suspects as Hispanic men in their 20’s, between 5’07” and 5’11” tall. Two men wore flannel shirts, and one man wore a hooded pullover jacket. All had their faces covered with bandanas.

It is not in Carp or even near it and also not in Carp jurisdiction. It is in the county therefore the sheriffs from that sub station have authority there. Understand I am not correcting this wrong title, I am only answering your question.

I really wish at least the locals would learn how to spell “Gibraltar.” And I agree with STARGIRL. Please, Sheriffs, have your writers learn about the use of apostrophes and other rules of grammar.
