Santa Barbara Village and the University Club of Santa Barbara announce, ‘Happy to Age 102: Studies from the Blue Zones’, presentation in the Empowered Aging Monthly Lecture Series. This series takes place on the second Tuesday of each month at the University Club and is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so reservations must be made prior to the scheduled presentation.
The ‘Happy to Age 102: Studies from the Blue Zones’ presentation will take place Tuesday, June 13th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the University Club of Santa Barbara, 1332 Santa Barbara St., 93101. Marilyn Berman, Director of Client Care at Home Care Assistance of Santa Barbara, will talk about the keys to longevity that have been researched in the Blue Zones of the world (several areas in the world where studies have shown healthy longevity is abundant). She will also discuss how to incorporate the principles of living from these areas into daily life, helping everyone live longer and in a happier, healthier manner. Participants will receive a copy of
“Happy to 102”, a book on the Blue Zones.
Santa Barbara Village is a nonprofit, virtual community of seniors and volunteers helping one another successfully age-in-place in Santa Barbara, Goleta and Carpinteria.
