Shakespeare On Film: Macbeth

The latest, and possibly darkest, film adaptation of “Macbeth”, stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Critically acclaimed for its stunning visuals and charismatic performances, the film offers a sustained meditation on power and violence.
Screenwriters Todd Louiso & Jacob Koskoff will join moderator Jim Kearney (English, UCSB) for a post-screening discussion.
This event is free but a reservation is recommended in order to guarantee a seat.
Tickets will be released on Wednesday, January 3 at 11:00 AM.
