“Gaviota: The End of Southern California” explores one of the most threatened biodiversity hotspots in the world. Meticulously filmed over the course of five years, the film leads audiences from the ocean floor of the Santa Barbara Channel to the peaks of the jagged Santa Ynez Mountains.
Director Shaw Leonard will join moderator Courtney Thomas (Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, UCSB) for a post-screening discussion.
This event is free but a reservation is recommended in order to guarantee a seat.
Tickets will be released on Wednesday, January 10 at 11:00 AM.
