Join us as we learn about Santa Barbara’s first large scale family centric festival, PuppetPalooza. A festival you won’t want you or your family to miss! For four days puppets will take over the city of Santa Barbara with 20 performances, 33 performers and 2 park celebrations that will be a magnet for children, families, visitors. It begins with “Pop Up Puppet Stages on State Street” and a “Puppeteers Block Party” Sponsored by Downtown Santa Barbara on First Thursday March 1. The Highlights of the Festival include a special appearance of the Muppets at the Marjorie Luke Theatre, America’s world renown marionette performer Phillip Huber who was featured in “Being John Malkovich,” bilingual performances from Manuel Moran’s Viva Pinocho and a free performance in Alameda Park especially for neurodiverse children and their families (all bookings are subject to availability). www.puppetfestsb.com
