Liberty and the Supreme Court– Lecture with Dr. David Bisno

March 7, 2018 @ 7:00 am PST

With a new justice at the Supreme Court and a new president in the White House, Chief Justice John Roberts and his brethren will be making decisions which will affect all of our lives and those of our children and grandchildren. David will help us understand how the Trump Administration is redefining the meaning of “Liberty” and how the Court is likely to treat the re-fashioning of regulations – “those wise restraints which make men free.” Together we will tease apart the struggle between individual liberties, corporate freedom, and governmental power in the era of Trump.
David Bisno, M.D., a retired ophthalmologist with degrees from Harvard, Dartmouth and the Washington University School of Medicine, has been an enthusiastic discussion leader within institutes for lifelong learning across our country and overseas on a myriad of topics for 25 years. David has studied constitutional law at the Harvard Law School with Laurence Tribe and at the Law School of the College of William and Mary.

RSVPs requested to (805) 957-1116.
