Santa Barbara Public Library, in partnership with California Hope 805, an organization established in response to the Thomas Fire and Montecito Debris Flow events to support the wellness of the community. Learn more about California Hope 805 on the County of Santa Barbara website.
The workshop will be held at the Montecito Library, located at 1469 East Valley Road, on Thursdays beginning October 11 at 10:30 am, and will run for six weeks, through November 15. This informal workshop will encourage participants to explore the context and subtext of the natural disasters and the changes they spur in our community and daily lives. Participants are welcome to attend any week on a drop-in basis.
Through writing and education, this workshop will provide an opportunity for connection and introspection at this phase of the recovery process.
