3rd ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA

Santa Barbara Summit for Tibet (SBST) invites the community to honor, celebrate in a day of compassion celebrating His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama’s 84th Birthday.

A celebration will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara, 1535 Santa Barbara St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

The celebration will feature Inter-Faith guest speakers, local dignitaries, and a special chant by Thai Buddhist Monks and Tibetan Lamas.

In addition, there will be a special performance of circle dancing from the Himalayan community and sacred music by Emiliano Campobello, Alla McKeon, and Jane Ingram. There will be an announcement of a new scholarship fund dedicated to higher learning of Himalayan students in India and Bhutan.

This is a free, family-friendly event and all are welcome! Refreshments will be served.
SANTA BARBARA SUMMIT FOR TIBET is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
The goal of SBST is to establish a mutually supportive cultural alliance between local
Tibetan exiles and Himalayan communities and our local citizens.
We will also be creating a forum and events to educate people about the beauty of the
richly spiritual Himalayan cultures.
