Photo Sculptures by Salvatore Matteo

Silo118 is pleased to present an exhibition of Salvatore Matteo’s photo sculptures at Synergy One Lending in Montecito. This Los Angeles-based artist (originally from Brooklyn) starts with a photographic image he finds compelling, then cuts portions of it into evocative patterns and lifts them away from the surface. The result is a three dimensional piece more in sync with the world of dreams and memories than the flat surfaces of a photograph.
This exhibition is open to the public weekdays 9am-5pm. Located at 1250 Coast Village Road in Montecito.
