White Buffalo Land Trust, whose 12-acre farm in Summerland is beginning their mission to educate, research and promote regenerative agriculture, will hold their inaugural benefit, Roots of the Future, on Saturday, October 19 from 5:00 to 10:00pm. As their first opportunity to share their mission of regenerative agriculture at a public event, the benefit will demonstrate the ties between the community and the food we eat. Held at the Villa at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, the event will highlight a stellar collection of restaurants, chefs, and purveyors, who will focus on exemplifying what a regenerative food system looks like. The menu will include tastings from Barbareno and Sunstone Winery, bites from acclaimed New York restaurant COTE Steakhouse and Santa Barbara favorite Sama Sama, along with a seated dinner featuring Chef Neal Fraser of Los Angeles’ RedBird and more. Tickets for the event are available via White Buffalo Land Trust’s website, and cost $250.
