The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center is hosting a Holiday Jazz and Tamales festival on Saturday, December 14. The festival will take place after the 3 p.m. Holiday Spirit Parade down Linden Avenue in Carpinteria. Tamales, cookies, and a variety beverages will be available, with lively holiday jazz music provided by the Cate School Jazz Band. The Charles Lo Bue Gallery will also be open; art purchases from the Small Works Holiday Show may be taken off the walls as holiday gifts. The festivities will continue until the Hospice Tree Lighting event at 5:30 p.m.
