IMPROVology at the Lobero

The Santa Barbara Zoo is excited to announce the return of IMPROVology, a live, family-friendly mashup of science and comedy. Mix comedians with animal experts, add cool stories about fascinating critters, and everyone ends up happy as clams.
In a special Valentine’s Day edition of IMPROVology, improv comedians from LA’s Impro Theatre do a deep dive with animal scientists to uncover the lusty underbelly of truly “wild” love, using stories from the field as fuel for side-splitting skits, songs, and silliness created on the spot. Local pianist Konrad Kono sets the mood music with Dr. Michael Schindlinger on bass. Celebrity judges award points to each team. Audience participation encouraged.
