“One of the first conditions of happiness is that THE LINK BETWEEN MAN AND NATURE shall not be broken.” — Leo Tolstoy
Continuing its 34-year tradition of calling attention to and supporting preservation of open spaces in the natural world, the Oak Group is proud to hold its Fall 2020 show to benefit NatureTrack, whose mission is to instill young students with leadership skills, attitudes, and habits for lifelong learning, and to inspire them to be respectful stewards of our natural world. The synergy of these two groups is apparent in that NatureTrack is mentoring new stewards for the lands The Oak Group will bring into focus making sure there always remains vital open spaces for people and animals. Talk about going full circle.

ABOUT THE NON PROFITS:
Since its founding in 2011, NatureTrack Foundation has introduced schoolchildren to outdoor spaces from the seashore to the oak woodlands of Santa Barbara County by providing free outdoor field trips. NatureTrack has provided more than 22,000 natural outdoor experiences for school-aged children, enriching their lives and the lives of those they touch. We also hope the experience begins a lifelong appreciation of and care for the natural world.
The Oak Group began exhibiting art to preserve open spaces in 1986. Their exhibitions bring public attention to lands at risk and generate funds and community support to protect them.
