The League of Women Voters, Santa Barbara, and the Community Environmental Council will host a climate forum on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of the Virtual Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival celebration. Learn more about the history of ecological land stewardship in the Central Coast region and how agricultural and natural lands can build climate resilience by drawing down carbon from the atmosphere. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be provided by Silvia Uribe, Transilpro.
Forum Moderator: Allegra Roth, Food and Climate Program Manager, Community Environmental Council of Santa Barbara (CEC)
Allegra Roth has a background in environmental and water policy and a passion for food system work. She enjoys working as a Food and Climate Program Senior Associate at CEC, addressing barriers to a sustainable food system and identifying regenerative solutions.
