Breast Cancer Resource Center 13th Annual THRIVE Fashion Show Fundraiser

The Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara (BCRC) will host its 13th Annual Thrive Fashion Show and for the first time, it will be presented as a virtual event.  

The Thrive Fashion Show program starts at Noon and will be broadcast on Sunday, May 2, 2021, to paid viewers and sponsors, from the picturesque lily pond at the Belmond El Encanto—the presenting sponsor for the event. The proceeds from this inspirational charity event fund essential support services and educational programs for women dealing with a breast cancer.   

BCRC clients will model fashions by K. Frank of Montecito and guests will hear their heartwarming stories of courage, through their unique journeys facing breast cancer. All the models are breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and BCRC clients who have been supported and encouraged by the many free programs and services that the BCRC provides.   

The BCRC is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997. The BCRC is celebrating 24 years of providing vital and compassionate support to individuals facing a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, or breast health challenges. Currently, the BCRC is continuing to provide resources and information virtually and through one-on-one peer counseling. The BCRC is also connecting clients through Zoom with educational lectures and enrichment sessions, peer counseling, support groups, and several integrative therapies and wellness programs. All services are free of charge to clients, which is more important than ever. The BCRC is located at 55 Hitchcock Way, in Santa Barbara and is funded solely through its fundraising events and devoted donor base.
