The iconic El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, Santa Barbara—a tranquil hideaway perched in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains—will host its Taste of El Encanto event featuring Volcán De Mi Tierra Tequila on June 27-30, 2021. The Taste of El Encanto, Volcán Experience invites guests to enjoy an array of exclusive dinners and culinary activations in the hotel’s stunning coastal setting. Taste of El Encanto package guests will enjoy lively dinners prepared by El Encanto’s Executive Chef Bruno Lopez, evening soirées with inventive tequila poptails and live music co-hosted by Volcán De Mi Tierra brand ambassadors, elaborate in-room dining experiences, historic walking tours, and much more.
The three-day event offers a selection of hands-on experiences and demonstrations as well, including a “Sipping and Succulents” workshop, a private Flamenco dancing class, and a handmade tortilla making demonstration. The “Sipping and Succulents” class is led by a local botanical artist to showcase the beauty, health benefits, and versatility of the agave plant. The potting experience is paired with a selection of signature Volcán De Mi Tierra cocktails, and light bites. Couples can also learn the art of Flamenco dancing on El Encanto’s elegant Ballroom patio at sunset and master the art of tortilla making with an in-depth demonstration to prepare their own tortillas and ceviche recipes with friends and family at home.
Outside of signature event experiences, guests will have ample time to enjoy El Encanto’s seven acres of lush gardens in the tranquil American Riviera neighborhood. Afternoons can be spent exploring Downtown Santa Barbara on the hotel’s complimentary electric bikes, lounging by the hotel’s zero-edge infinity pool, or buried deep in a book on guests’ private balconies and terraces.
