On the 26th of April, the Committee for Social Justice is holding a Town Hall. Its panelists are professionals in the field of outreach, executive directors and CEOs of various programs that work with and for the homeless. It is also a work meeting where we encourage audience participation and feedback from what the audience has heard.
It is to be held at the Veterans Administration building at 112 W Cabrillo Blvd. The time is at 6:PM.
Homelessness is a community problem that affects all of us. Agencies and Governments do not have magic answers and can only do so much towards working on sustainable solutions. They need community involvement and support. They need to hear your voices and ideas. Join us for a public discussion and solutions exploration session.
We invite everyone to participate as we examine the issues and propose answers to some of our most pressing community challenges. This is a unique opportunity to discuss how we best solve homelessness with the people working on the front lines. It is also a tie to hear from those experiencing homelessness and the challenges ‘the system’ presents in attempting to navigate their way out of it.
