Whose Line is it Anyway’s Musical Director Laura Hall and her husband, Rick Hall (The Second City alumni, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld) will be performing with select improvisers from Carpinteria Improv, Santa Barbara Improv, and Ventura’s Jest Improv in a night of musical improv comedy on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Alcazar Theatre in Carpinteria.
“We are so excited to be bringing the highly talented Laura and Rick Hall to the Alcazar Theatre for a night of fun improv comedy in the style of Whose Line that is completely made up based on audience suggestions,” said Carpinteria Improv’s Kymberlee Weil. “We never know what to expect, and Laura’s ability to create improvised music adds a unique dimension to the live show.”
Laura Hall is the long-time musical director for Whose Line is it Anyway. Her husband Rick is an alumnus of The Second City, where he met Laura, and has appeared in numerous TV shows, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Kim Possible, Seinfeld, and others.
Joining Rick and Laura on stage will be Carpinteria Improv’s Kymberlee Weil and Chris Shurland; Santa Barbara Improv’s Amy Nash and Alan Irwin; and Jest Improv’s Jonny Andrews and Alex Sattler. American Improv Theatre’s Jeff Ringgold will host the fun evening. Tickets are available at the Alcazar Theatre’s website at www.thealcazar.org.
