Join us for the third lecture and demonstration from appraiser Elizabeth Stewart, Ph.D. who will be joined on stage by Louis John, owner of the high end fashion boutique inside Miss Daisy’s. Doors open 5 pm; Show begins at 5:30
Two fashionistas exploring fashion ensembles pulled from Louis John Boutique. Covering topics such as designer inspiration of patterns; style influences ranging from traditional to modern; how culture affects fashion; how architecture is influenced by fashion; and more. We invite the audience to ‘dress to impress’ for the event in their favorite iconic fashion designer outfit or your own individual style to be a part of the evenings’ fashion scene.
Louis John said, “It’s the designer’s creation and the wearer’s look that’s the art.”
Topics will cover how fashion influences architecture, art, culture and how nature and history inspire fashion.
Novack, owner of the largest consignment store in the tri-counties, will host/introduce the program. He’ll also talk about how you can utilize Miss Daisy’s and about Consign For a Cause. This clever program is how a non-profit can, by inviting its supporters to think about donating valuable items thereby creating a new revenue stream. Novack pre-approves every item on the floor, which gives his collection a different shine.
