Open Auditions: Miracle on 34th Street

Presented by the Alcazar Ensemble, the 1947 classic film to stage play will cast several roles from children to adults. A Macy’s department store Santa who insists he really is Kris Kringle meets a little girl who has been taught not to believe in fantasy. Can truth be found in a courtroom? New York City ends up captivated by the sensational case; is Kris Kringle deluded and dangerous, or is it just possible he’s the real deal?
The comedy-drama play is based on a story by Valentine Davie, and adapted by Asa Olsson, who will be directing.
